Why?

The Happy Servant program was initially created to help people stay in their home longer and avoid moving into a nursing home. There is a wide array of home care services to take care of the individuals needs, but when it comes to maintaining the home most of those services don’t lift more than 25 pounds and don’t do anything on a ladder. That is where our services start. 

Over time needs will involve more than home maintenance and include other services such as home repair, plumbing, electrical, HVAC service, landscape and lawn maintenance, emergency service, remodeling or replacement needs. The time, effort and frustration to keep track of all those companies and get the work the customer needs done can be overwhelming. Deciding who to invite into your home for each service can be challenging. As a general contractor we coordinate many different services on large projects. That is why we created a program that can do the same thing on a micro scale.

Most of the services a homeowner would need on a regular basis can already be taken care of in house and with our current long-term connections. Our customers only have one call to make. Instead of having to find new people to invite into your home with every service, multiple bills, and schedules to coordinate, this service alleviates that burden.

We wanted to serve a group of customers based on their needs to help them stay in their home, focus their time on a busy work or family life, or take care of the projects that they do not have the ability to take on themselves. We wanted to create a program where people can rest easy knowing there is someone there to help with and take care of their home. The relationship and trust is far more important than the individual task or need, it is just a small part of a long term overall picture.

Overall customer experience is the difference. Before we even enter your home to work, we have gone over and will implement things that will make your overall experience satisfactory. Much of what we do will go unnoticed and that is the point. One example is taking extra time to put up dust protection or negatively pressurize a work area. This prevents dust from going into non work areas of your home. So, after we are done you are not cleaning dust out of the bookshelf 6 months after we've completed the project.

An Invitation

The Happy Servant program takes it very seriously that people are not only asking us to take care of a problem but, inviting us into their home. If we can build a relationship with a customer, that customer no longer must continually make decisions about who they are inviting into their home for the wide array of services a normal homeowner needs over the course of time. They no longer must ask the question “Who do I need to call for this?” An invitation into your home and allowing us to serve you is the first step to a harmonious and sustainable relationship.
